George III sterling silver condiment salt spoon with an Old English pattern stem and an engraved terminal R. Hallmarks are worn but readable, and consist of the lion passant mark for sterling silver, London date letter G for 1798, makers mark T W for Thomas Wallis II, and the George III duty mark. No city mark, which was intentionally absent by the assay office on low weight silver during this period.
